Women’s Program Vision

The Need is Real. The Time is Now.

Addiction is ravaging women and families across Northeast Wisconsin.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, every age group in Wisconsin binge drinks more than the U.S. median average. In Northeast Wisconsin alone, over 30% of 6,500 addiction-related deaths in the past seven years are women—a silent crisis demanding urgent action. Tragically, many of these women are mothers, and rising addiction rates correlate directly with the number of children entering the foster care system.

Behind these statistics are shattered homes, broken trust, and children growing up without their mothers.

ATCNEW believes in rewriting these stories.

"We envision a faith-based, residential recovery program for women— a place of healing, hope, and restoration. Building on over 65 years of success through more than 1,000 Adult & Teen Challenge centers worldwide, we are committed to bringing the same life-transforming care to the women of Northeastern Wisconsin."

A Vision Worth Fighting For

Under the leadership of the Executive Director and Board of Directors at ATCNEW, a successful men’s residential recovery program was launched in 2024 following a 39-month ground-zero campaign. This initiative met a critical need in Northeast Wisconsin by establishing the region’s first long-term, faith-based recovery facility for men—featuring 20 treatment beds and 8 transitional sober living beds for program graduates in the Green Bay area.

Now, we are prayerfully seeking Strategic Partners to help bring the Women’s Recovery Center to life.

We are specifically praying for:

  • A suitable, commercial community-based residential property in Northeastern Wisconsin to serve 14–20 women annually.
  • Provisions for beds, furniture, office equipment, and household essentials for a therapeutic living environment.
  • 15-passenger vans to provide transportation to medical and dental appointments, church services, and community events.
  • Financial support to fund staffing, program development, and day-to-day operations.

We cannot do this alone—and the need is urgent.

Will you be part of this story?

If your heart is stirred to help as a strategic partner, we invite you to connect with our Executive Leadership Team. Together, we can put hope within reach for women and mothers across Northeastern Wisconsin in need of long-term, faith-based recovery.

Hope Has a Sound

Women in our residential program will become part of the ATCNEW Choir—singing in local churches and community venues, sharing testimonies of transformation and family restoration. Through worship and outreach, participants become instruments of hope, reminding others that freedom is possible.
