The Need is Real. The Time is Now.
Addiction is ravaging women and families across Northeast Wisconsin.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, every age group in Wisconsin binge drinks more than the U.S. median average. In Northeast Wisconsin alone, over 30% of 6,500 addiction-related deaths in the past seven years are women—a silent crisis demanding urgent action. Tragically, many of these women are mothers, and rising addiction rates correlate directly with the number of children entering the foster care system.
Behind these statistics are shattered homes, broken trust, and children growing up without their mothers.
ATCNEW believes in rewriting these stories.
"We envision a faith-based, residential recovery program for women— a place of healing, hope, and restoration. Building on over 65 years of success through more than 1,000 Adult & Teen Challenge centers worldwide, we are committed to bringing the same life-transforming care to the women of Northeastern Wisconsin."
What Our Women’s Program Will Provide
Below is a visual and preview of the holistic, one-year residential program we hope to launch.

Hope Has a Sound
Women in our residential program will become part of the ATCNEW Choir—singing in local churches and community venues, sharing testimonies of transformation and family restoration. Through worship and outreach, participants become instruments of hope, reminding others that freedom is possible.

Healing Families
Our mission isn’t just sobriety—it’s restoration. The program helps mothers rebuild broken relationships, become present for their children, and find their identity in Christ.

Safe, Supportive Community
Women will live in a nurturing, peaceful home environment surrounded by peers, mentors, and caring staff. Our program's daily structure promotes personal growth and recovery.

Faith-Based Transformation
Daily Bible study, church attendance, and chapel services are core to our program. Women encounter Jesus, experience His love, and discover their new identity.

Breaking Chains of Addiction
We get to the root of addiction—trauma, shame, abuse—and provide tools for healing. Counseling and classes help women face the past and build a new future.

Personal Growth & Education
Participants receive life-skills training, budgeting help, career preparation, and opportunities for higher education—all through a Christ-centered lens.

A New Life
Our 4-phase, year-long structure provides transformation from the inside out:
Accept – Recognizing destructive habits
Heal – Restoring emotional and spiritual wounds
Discover – Uncovering purpose and strengths
Practice – Transitioning with confidence

Mentorship Program
Approved, trained female ATCNEW mentors from the community will come alongside residents throughout the journey of their recovery program. Trusted relationships strengthen recovery.

Lasting Freedom
Our Aftercare program support ensures women remain connected through mentorship, Celebrate Recovery, a local church family, and their ATCNEW care team. We’re building a lasting community.
